All K-8 families who pledge and contribute a minimum of $2,000 per calendar year to St. Ignatius Parish are eligible for the contributing tuition rate.
All families that do not meet these criteria are responsible for the non-contributing tuition rate. The $2,000 donation is per family, not per K-8 student and runs per calendar year, not academic year.
Non-contributing families are responsible for an annual family fee of $400.

At St. Ignatius School, we have 4 payment options. Please choose the one that best meets your needs.
Option 1: Payment in full by June 12
Option 2: Pay half of the total annual tuition by June 1 and the remainder by December 13.
Option 3: Pay monthly for 10 months with the first payment due in June and the remaining 9
payments due September - May. Please note, grade level fees are due in July of each year.
Option 4: Families that choose option 1 or 2 may deduct $100 from their total tuition bill.
To help minimize school expenses throughout the year, St. Ignatius has a one time Consumables, Class and Supply Fee due in July. This fee varies by grade, and covers ALL consumable texts, classroom supplies, field trips, parties, class t-shirt, PTO donation, art fee, music fee, and Impala Gala donation per student.

CHOOSE stands for: Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students’ Education Act of 2024. Signed into law by Governor Kay Ivey on March 7, 2024, the CHOOSE Act makes refundable income tax credits available in an educational savings account (ESA) to pay up to $7,000 of tuition and other qualifying educational expenses.
An ESA can be used to pay for tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses at approved Education Service Providers (ESPs) in Alabama. An ESA will provide $7,000 per participating student who is enrolled in a participating school.
Application period: January 2- April 7, 2025.
