The Early Learning Center at St. Ignatius is a vibrant and wonderful place. The faculty and staff love and nurture the students while providing academic and spiritual instruction. We invite you to read through our Early Learning Center Brochure.
We offer full day and half day programs five days a week for all students: 4 months through 4K.
A child’s early years are the foundation for his or her future development, providing a strong base for lifelong learning and learning abilities, including cognitive, social, and spiritual development. Well-established research continues to emphasize the importance of early childhood education as an essential building block of a child’s future success. For us, at St. Ignatius, it is also the building block for the future of our parish and our faith.
The Early Learning Center has the finest teachers and staff who are ready to provide excellent learning opportunities using the most developmentally advanced curriculum. Not only are we the only school with a defined curriculum for even the youngest of Impalas we also administer assessments to ensure your child is on track or help you address issues if or when they arise.
- Annual Vision & Hearing Screenings for ages 1 year to 4 years
- Developmental Assessment Checklist at 3-month intervals from 9 months to 2 years
- Ongoing assessments with 3 formalized assessments using defined rubrics from 2 years through 4 years
- All assessments address the domains of Health & Motor, Social-Emotional, Language & Literacy and Cognition.
